Atlas Bar Singapore: Art Deco, Gin and a Seat at the Bar

When I first wrote about Atlas in June 2022, it was next to my office. This was a convenient arrangement for someone who likes Art Deco and occasionally needs an excuse to sit still with a cocktail.

Atlas is on the ground floor of Parkview Square on North Bridge Road. The room is enormous and richly decorated. At its centre stands a tower of gin bottles, giving the practical business of storing drinks the scale of a public monument.

I adore Art Deco. For some reason, the name also makes me think of Atlas Shrugged, although the book is not the reason I go. I like looking around the room, watching the other visitors and drinking a cocktail slowly.

The room is part of the order

The prices I mentioned in that original note began at about S$25 for a cocktail. That is a memory of the visit, not today’s menu.

A drink here comes with quite a lot to look at. The ceiling, the bottles and the room’s proportions give even an unhurried visit plenty to occupy it.

Before going

The official Atlas website has the current menus, opening times and booking link. When checked in September 2026, it specified a dress code from 5 pm. It is worth checking the requirements when arranging an evening visit.

I go for the room as much as for the drinks. Fortunately, they let me enjoy both from the same chair.
